Q: How many exposures are in the camera?
A: 27 exposures...1 per mile and 1 for the finish line!
Q: How much does the camera weigh?
A: 2.5 ounces
Q: Will the camera clip chaff my skin?
A: No. To date, there haven't been any reports of chaffing.
Q: Why is the photo quality so good?
A: The Runner's Camera doesn't use cheap film or single-use cameras with poor optics. If you're going to wear a camera for 26.2 miles, the shots have to be the best!
Q: Are the camera and clip recyclable?
A: Yes.
Q: Where do people wear the camera on their running shorts?
A: On the righthand side if you're a "righty", on the lefthand side if you're a "lefty", or on the back.
Q: Is the film wound automatically in the camera?
A: No. Usually, the camera requires winding 3 or 4 times to get ready for the next picture.
Q: Will the camera fall off while running?
A: No, if properly attached, and your shorts or tights have a firm waistband.
Q: Will the camera work in rain?
A: Yes. The Runner's Camera is water resistant, and water will not penetrate the camera. The only part affected by water is the label on the camera which will get wet and may tear off, but the label is not instrumental to the performance of the camera. Don't try swimming with the camera, though, because it is not waterproof.
Q: Should I try to keep my camera dry while running in rain?
A: Yes. Cover your camera with a rain jacket when you're not taking pictures. This will help maintain a strong grip between the camera and the clip. It will also keep raindrops from landing on your lens.
Q: Does The Runner's Camera need to be taken to a special place for photo-processing?
A: No. The photo-processing method for The Runner's Camera is C-41 which is a universal process that is available worldwide.
